This Acceptable Use Policy explains how merchants may use the Wireless Freedom platform. By selling products or services on Wireless Freedom, you agree to follow this policy, our Terms of Service, and any applicable product-specific terms.
Legal and Regulatory Compliance
You must comply with all laws, regulations, and industry requirements that apply to your business, products, and markets. This includes consumer protection, privacy, telecommunications, and payment-related laws.
For merchants operating in Canada, this includes compliance with applicable federal and provincial consumer protection laws, CRTC rules, the Wireless Code, Internet Code, and TV Service Provider Code, where applicable.
You are responsible for understanding the regulatory obligations of the markets you choose to operate in. Certain activities are not supported on the platform, including the storage or transmission of regulated data such as protected health information.
Telecom and Consumer Transparency (Canada)
If you sell mobile, internet, or other telecommunications services in Canada, you must clearly and accurately disclose all material terms to consumers, including pricing, contract length, cancellation rights, fees, device financing terms, and any usage limits.
You must not engage in misleading, deceptive, or unfair practices, including false advertising, hidden fees, or inaccurate claims about coverage, speeds, availability, or promotions.
You are responsible for honoring consumer rights under applicable laws, including trial periods, cancellation rights, refunds, and contract summaries where required.
Prohibited Conduct
You may not use Wireless Freedom to engage in conduct that harms others or undermines trust in commerce. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Threats or calls for violence against individuals or groups
- Sale of products or services that facilitate intentional self-harm
- Fraud, deception, or misrepresentation
- Spam, abusive behavior, or malicious activity
Platform and Service Terms
Your use of Wireless Freedom is governed by our Terms of Service and any additional terms that apply to specific products or services, including payment processing and third-party integrations.
Some services rely on partners such as payment processors, card networks, carriers, or other service providers. When you use these services, you agree to comply with all applicable partner and supply-chain requirements.
Good Faith Use
You must use the platform in good faith. Attempts to bypass platform controls, evade restrictions, or “game” systems are not permitted.
If violations occur, Wireless Freedom may take action to protect buyers, partners, and the platform. Where possible, we will provide notice and an opportunity to correct issues. Account-level action may be taken when necessary.
Enforcement and Updates
Wireless Freedom may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any changes.
If you believe a merchant or user is violating this policy, you may submit a report to Wireless Freedom for review.
